The Duo is a 50km two-up time trial in Marigny in Normandy at which over 300 teams take part. It is run on closed roads and you can even have a following car with a name plate on it I think. It was organised by the nice chaps at Trailbreak who loaded all our kit on a lorry at Winchester so all we had to carry was our day’s supplies and when we reached the overnight stop it was all there waiting for us. Anyone’s who ridden the SDW will know its chalky surface is treacherous when wet so the glorious dry sunny weather was much appreciated and meant good times were the order of the day. T…
